Day 1 Arrival Nairobi
Approximately 32kms, takes approximately 1 hour's drive depending on traffic

Kencher Safaris guide driver will warmly meet you on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, transfer you to the Hemingways Nairobi. Check-in then brief you on your safari. Enjoy overnight as you wait to start your Kenya safari on your best holiday in Africa. You are booked on Bed & Breakfast.

Hemingways Nairobi is ideally located to several of Nairobi's major tourist attractions among them the Karen Blixen Museum and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. It has lofty, expansive rooms with vast, bright en-suite bathrooms and large private terraces are characteristic of the hotel's wonderful sense of space and use of natural light. Day 2 Nairobi - Tsavo East National Park
Approximately 365kms, takes approximately 7.5 hours' drive depending on traffic

Enjoy breakfast then we drive you to the Tsavo East National Park. We will be arriving at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge for check-in then lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. Some of the main attractions here are the Yatta plateau, Galana River, Mubanda rock, Lugard falls, Aruba dam and the Kanderi swamp. Enjoy dinner ad overnight at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge - tent.

Day 3 Tsavo East National Park

Enjoy breakfast then depart wit packed lunch for a full day of game viewing drives. Alternatively, you can enjoy a morning and afternoon game viewing drive with hot lunch at the lodge. The park is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust -red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species. Enjoy diner and overnight at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge - tent.

Ashnil Aruba Lodge Ashnil Aruba Lodge lies in the heart of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya. The Lodge features 46 rooms and 6 tents. Its location is superb, just a couple of hours from the coast of Mombasa, 5 hours leisurely drive from Nairobi and is located on the banks of Aruba Dam which was built in 1952 as a sport fishing recreational point in the park. Several watering holes nearby attract wildlife and spotting animals is easy because the park lies flat with savannah grassland.

The tents are all spacious, with king or twin beds and elegant en suite bathrooms. There is a main lounge, bar and dining area, all exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs. The Private House and Family Tent are located slightly separate to the main camp, upon the hill where they share a pool.

Day 4 Tsavo East - Tsavo West National Park
Approximately 145kms, takes approximately 3.5 hours' drive

Enjoy breakfast then drive to the Tsavo West National Park. This is one of the best parks for African safari. You will be arriving at the Finch Hattons Luxury Camp for check-in then lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant, Masai Giraffe, Burchell's Zebra, Lion, Lesser Kudu, and Nocturnal Porcupine among many others are found I this park. Prolific birdlife features over 600 species. Enjoy dinner ad overnight at the camp.

Day 5 Tsavo West National Park

Enjoy breakfast then with packed lunch depart on a full day of game viewing drives. Some interesting attractions in Tsavo West include the Mzima Springs, Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, Ngulia Hills, Shetani Lava Flows, Chaimu Crater & Roaring Rocks. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the Finch Hattons Luxury Camp.

Finch Hattons Luxury Camp is a luxury tented safari camp that combines its love for Tsavo with world-class facilities. Day 6 Tsavo West - Amboseli National Park
Approximately 120kms, takes approximately 3.5 hours' drive

Enjoy breakfast then we drive you to the Amboseli National Park arriving at the Tawi Lodge for check-in then lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. If the weather permits you will enjoy breath-taking views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. It is from the Amboseli where some of the most captivating wildlife photos with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background have been taken. Later return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Tawi Lodge is located on a private conservancy of 3,000 acres, just five minutes from Kimana Gate, the eastern entrance to Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m) - the worlds' largest free-standing mountain.

There are 13 individual guest cottages set on either side of the main lodge building; most cottages have a spectacular view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tawi can accommodate up to 30 guests. All ensuite, each has a large lockable wooden chest for safekeeping of valuables, spacious hanging cupboards and a fire place. Cottage 7 is suitable for wheelchair access. All meals are served at the main lodge dining room or in the garden. At sunrise, trays of hot tea and coffee are brought to your cottages, a perfect wake-up call before your game drive! Enjoy the wilderness with a picnic breakfast or lunch which are also available, with prior notice.

Day 7 Departure
Approximately 240kms, takes approximately 4.5 hours' drive depending on traffic
